Rachel Spooncer
With a strong background in leadership and teambuilding Rachel Spooncer specialises in coaching senior managers and executives on leadership development and managing change. She has worked with a wide range of senior executives to improve their impact and effectiveness and to develop the appropriate leadership styles to increase the performance of their teams. She also delivers team building programmes for leaders who want to create high performance cultures.


Client organisations include manufacturing, engineering and science based organisations both public and private, food and service companies, NHS and Local Government.

Rachel has had extensive line management and change management experience in a Blue chip company where her leadership and coaching skills were widely recognised as highly effective in developing people and team effectiveness. She worked in a series of design, manufacturing, technology and change management roles at a senior level. Six years ago she was elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and is actively involved in their initiatives in developing leadership in engineering. Rachel has had extensive training in coaching skills and is accredited as a Professional Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation. She is also experienced in using a range of supporting tools such as psychometric tests and 360 degree feedback.

Peter Shotton has extensive coaching experience working with executives and teams to raise personal performance through increased self-awareness, the language of leadership and development of effective relationships. He specialises in the facilitation of personal transition that accompanies organisational change and development.
Client organisations include telecommunications, food and drink, pharmaceuticals and medical products, manufacturing and engineering, professional services, academia and education.

Peter spent 15 years in corporate roles, latterly as a Director of both UK and German companies, in business-to-business sales and marketing, production management and human resource management within the food and drink sector. This was followed by 10 years in consultancy working with a range of clients where he focussed particularly on assessment, succession planning and recruitment challenges.

Wendy Briers is a highly experienced consultant specialising in leadership, executive coaching and organisation development. She has worked with substantial numbers of Senior Executives to improve their business performance, team effectiveness and personal leadership. She also specialises on the people side of large scale restructuring exercises to ensure effective integration and commercial success.

Client organisations include manufacturing, engineering, food, telecommunications, healthcare, retail, leisure, Insurance and public sector bodies.

Wendy spent 18 years working at a senior level within Blue chip organisations in International Human Resource and Organisation Development roles within the Healthcare, Retail and Leisure sectors. She is an accomplished facilitator across a broad spectrum of strategic and development interventions, with a commercial edge when building new organisation structures and teams. Wendy has attended many of the International Business Schools and is qualified to use a range of cultural and individual diagnostic tools, psychometric tests and cognitive psychology techniques.

Rachel Spooncer
Sue Shierson is a highly experienced strategic human resource consultant. She specialises in coaching top management executives and teams, focusing on improved personal and group effectiveness. As well as specialising in working with top managers and senior teams, Sue also focuses on working with global project teams and business start-up teams.

Client organisations included speciality chemicals, pharmaceuticals and medical products, manufacturing and engineering, information technology and professional services.

Sue has extensive senior management experience in an international context with Blue chip organisations. She has spent her career in an environment of technological and organisational change. She knows from her first hand experience what is required by the most senior managers and HR professionals to improve effectiveness at the highest levels of organisations.
